Throughout 2012, Jacksons are celebrating 65 years of Fine Fencing, Gates and More . . .
After moving from London to Kent and buying Stowting Farm in 1947, with the intention of taking up farming, Ian Jackson and his father Harry Sands Jackson, recognised a gap in the market. They started selling Chestnut fencing stakes and hay tripods to local farmers in Kent and the company H. S. Jackson and son was born.
Who would have thought sixty five years later Jacksons Fencing would be recognised as one of the market leaders? The company holds a unique position in the market place, specialising in not just timber, but steel fencing and gates and many associated products. It can boast the widest product range in the UK and possibly Europe too.
The company has three fencing centres, with staff covering the whole country, a French sales department, and Jacksons also exports its' products all over the world - covering Africa, Asia and Europe.
We have put together various pages you can access from here to tell you about the company history and how it developed and about the monthly giveaways and events throughout this year to celebrate and to reward our customers. Thank you to everyone who has worked towards making Jacksons what it is today - Here's to the future and the next 65 years!
